Hard Opposites - Kind Resolution - Blessed Imbolc

Aries in Chiron. Hard opposites. The blahs. Hot anger. Deep rage. Despair. All connected to a time when you felt powerless to change something, turned that experience in on yourself, and wham you're the fuck up. It takes two, it always takes two. Chiron is the wounded healer. Aries is life force. We are talking deep wounds to life force, to your unique expression of life and living. A growing sense, a growing impatience, of being done with something - perhaps a way of living, perceiving, and criticizing self. Debilitating self-judgment is of no benefit to you or anyone else. Ianna (radiance) takes in Ereskrigal (darkness) and is whole in her power to rule, to create. If you are a man, Osiris (radiance) takes in Seth (darkness) and becomes King of underworld fertility; the chthonic. Right use of power is love made visible.
Venus in Saturn. Some hard, harsh break-ups, could be with friends and/or employers/employees. Could be with partners/lovers, could be with those who expect entirely too much from you, or with those you've been taking care out of guilt, who are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves. Not to worry though; all this is needed to clear the way for love. Love is busting out all over. All kinds of love - lover's love, creative love, friendly love, passionate love, new love, universal love. New friends, new partners, new focus. Serious conversation, depth connection. Connecting from new places with other. A seriousness to one's expression of love, rooted in remembering who you are; not what you've been programmed and conditioned to believe about yourself by the well intentioned, (without a clue), and cultural evil hell bent on keeping you unconscious. We are each of us sacred beings, complex, tender, flesh and spirit. Radiant beings and pitch black darkness. Step away from those who do not mirror this truth, who would have you be one or the other, and refuse to dance the invisible intricacy of all life. Take pleasure in the serious side of you; what do you want the hub of your wheel to be for the next three years?

February Magick: Imbolc - the Goddess stretches after the arduous work of birthing the sun god at Yule. The sun god feels the stirrings of something he's not sure of: desire. The young maiden in the underworld feels the stirrings of something she's quite sure of: desire. For the witch, Imbolc marks the beginning of Spring. In 2019, We are moving from years of brutal transformation into pure creativity. All that transformation has brought you to core. The question is do you create from core or within societal paradigms? Here's a clue - create from core. Do what hasn't been done. See through your lens, not someone else's.

I love the simplicity and the effectiveness of the following chant. You can also substitute other words for inspiration: like money, love, freedom, security, protection, etc. Say the chant at least once round the mala.

GOD AND GODDESS FOR IMBOLC? TRY BREED (BRIGIT) AND LUGH. VERY HELPFUL DUO.
Most fun way to celebrate Imbolc? Turn on all the lights in your house for a full minute. Then run outside and bang pots and pans to wake up the Goddess. The more friends the merrier and if you're alone, I've done this along numerous times, you will laugh yourself silly.
On a heavier note. I love a good vision quest at Imbolc. I chant 5 times round the mala beads, drop a root, and let go. I don't tend to hear things when I enter the quiet and I don't asked questions. When I come out though, I know what to do.

In keeping with Imbolc, the structure of the monthly Goddess Speak is brand new. I am also initiating "Daily Ingredients," which will give you the energies (ingredients) with which you are working within a specific number of days. I am still working out the kinks on that one but I do know I want to put it on instagram so as soon as i work out the kinks, and Azie shows this technical neanderthal how to do that, I will let you know.
